Jupiter in Decent Brisbane Seeing 23rd July

After trouble aligning the Goto Dobsonian this morning due to a depleted power pack I decided to manually track Jupiter using a 5x Powermate and the Canon EOS 550D. The seeing was the best I have ever had for Jupiter, which was about 7/10.

Here are a couple of images viewed at 100%. The satellites portrait was shot in full HD mode.

Cheers,

Tom

Thanks guys. I was surprised by how well the better seeing improved the image quality. I was beginning to think that Jupiter was always going to remain a poor object for my imaging/processing abilities.
