[SOLD] Antique Jules Verne

Hi there.

I'm trying to fund my first Telescope purchase so i am selling this jules verne circa around 1900.


The wonderful Travels Omnibus

267 page (19.5cm x 13cm x 5cm) hardback book published by Ward, Lock & Co. Limited circa 1890-1900.



This early Jules Verne omnibus contains:

• Around the World in Eighty Days.
• Five Weeks in a Balloon.
• A Journey into the Interior of the Earth.

Illustrated with plates by Henry Austin.

A copy of this was on ebay a couple of months ago, you can find this listing by typing "wonderful travels omnibus ebay" into google. That one was advertised at 150 British pounds which is roughly $225 aus.
I believe my copy looks to be in better condition than this one (can post pictures if requested). I think $225 was a bit rich, probably why it did not sell. I will ask $100. Or make me an offer and i'll think about it.

Can you describe the condition and provide some photos please.

I would say very good condition. Pages have browned a little, but that happens after 110 years. Bit of wear at base of spine due to sitting in bookshelf. Pages spine and cover still very tight.
Will post some pics in the morning. Pictures will describe alot better than i can.
