First DSO image using a Mewlon 250. Tough conditions the night taken windy and bright, gradients and star elongation . Used the dedicated reduce/flattener with the scope { from F/12 to F/9.2}, I'm not sure if I got the spacing right or the elongation is a symptom of guiding error or the DK scope design {might start saving for that new Tak corrector}. 5x5min SXVF-25mc.

A good start with the Mewlon250 Beren. Certainly shows promise. As you suggest, I don't think the conditions were favourable. The data doesn't snap to focus. Deeper exposures would also assist. Looking forward to seeing how this combination works out for you - a solid deep sky rig.
