Thanks so much everyone for your birthday well wishes.

Hubby is overseas for a while so I made sure I had a good birthday and spent lots of money so he didn't feel so bad , that's what sane people do isn't it

I spent the afternoon at the Sofitel Hotel eating everything I fancied from their top notch smorgasboard. I paced myself over 2 1/2 hours of eating . Then a leisurely stroll through the city where all of sudden I found myself buying one of those android phone things which was on too good a deal to pass up. My old phone barely holds a charge these days. Woohoo, I can't wait to discover what's out there in apps and get the sky programme.

Just came home and enjoying one of many glasses of wine for the night ahead. As for dinner, my daughter is making me cafe style Eggs Benedict (she works part time in a cafe so they are as good as ).
