AUGUST S&T magazine - spectroscopy

The August edition of the Amaerican S&T has a very good four page article on spectroscopy. Written by Tom Field (developer of the RSpec spectroscope software) it covers the basics. Worth reading if you want to understand what spectroscopy can offer.

Oooh I find this stuff fascinating and would really like to read up and understand it better (in simple terms hopefully).
Looking forward to reading the article as soon as I'm able to find an American copy of the magazine.
Thank you!

Hi Suzy,

The article will be running in a forthcoming issue of Australian Sky & Telescope, along with a planned extra local piece.

Greg,
That's great news!
We need all the help we can get to encourage amateurs to come over to the "Rainbow side" - Spectroscopy.

Well I cannot get it at my deployed location so I had my wife grab it from the local news stand. Unfortunately it takes two weeks to get here....
