Handles for Dob

I see now why ATMs get themselves a lathe sooner or later. Can any one advise me as to where I can get Handles with 1/4 inch bsw threads for tensioning a scope on a dob mount. I require the threads to be about 2 inches long. Failing that can I get a lathe for Christmas?
Regards and thanks in advance
Tom Summers.

Tom, would something from here do?

Threaded rod and various nuts (wing, acorn etc) can be used to fashion handles/knobs.

Maybe post a rough or good drawing of what you require.

Perhaps "Beginers Equipment Discussions" might be a better place to post your request.
