Nicely done. I think I like the first and second images best. The first is near the same area as my recent image of SOA184433, but slightly more toward the blue reflection. Certainly try doing a mosaic in PS and see how it looks. Remember to blend the layers together when you are done.
Awesome work Ross. Really well done. You have indeed enough overlap to stitch those three. Next session fill in the gaps and you'll ave a really nice panorama.

Well done, Ross.
Did you use Photoshop, Marc? AutoPano made this in about 10 seconds.
Ken, thanks. This is my 3rd proper, darksite outing with the QHY8L and am really starting to like it and the images it produces.
I have the Gain at 1 and the Offset at 133 as suggested by Theo. They seem to work so I have not changed them.
I use the Ezycap software that came with the camera and it works well.
I use DSS to register and stack. I then import into Photoshop to process.
Louie and Steven, thanks for you encouraging comments.
Doug and Paul, thanks for your kind comments and advice. Yes, when I looked at the 3 shots I saw that they overlaped. Mosaics.....something else to add to the "must learn" list. I think Marc has given me a short cut.
Thanks Andrew and I will check out Autopano...I love anything that saves me time and effort!
Marc, thank you for joining the shots together. I am definitely going to fill in the gaps. The end result will be amazing. Your skills are magical!
Yes Darrin, mosaics were not a path I wanted to venture down. I have too many more basic skills to still learn. However, it is tempting.
Hi Trevor. Yes it was a magical night at Wiruna. Ten hours straight of the clearest skies and trouble free imaging. Do you think Mr Magic had something to do with it?

K ta, that is the same setting and software I've got for mine...when I finally get to use it
The full mosiac will be one hell of a awesome pic!
