Haven't imaged anything is a while. I managed to get out the other day and get a widefield view of M16.

• 8x600sec
• SBIG ST-8300C @-27c
• Orion ED80

A quick process in CCDSTACK and PS3 - Happy to take any comments

PS: I have a new field flattener from Bintel that I'll try soon to get rid of those comets at the edge of the field.

I bet that you got the $149 Orion field flattener
If you get the 55mm spacing right then it will make the stars pinpoint till every corner.
I have one of those for my ED80 as you know from my test image

You are dead right I did. The SBIG has about 17mm of backfocus and I have a Bintel spacer that is 50mm - so thats a bit too far but I'll see how I go.
