After spending half the night having hissing fits with my guiding, I turned the scope to the North......it loves shooting to the North.
2hr 40min of 5 minute subs.
Canon 550D @ ISO800, ED80, HEQ5Pro Mount
Stacked in DSS 3.3.3 and processed in CS3

so very very tired......must keep imaging.......

I'm looking forward to a chance at that one.
I hope I can approach something recognisable -
I doubt I'll reach your level for another year or so!
By which time you'll be way ahead.

Not often seen as a presented target here, this is very good from a DSLR. Maybe just a tad of focus issue, but other than that quite nice.

Hi Jeanette,

Two very impressive photos.

Great colour and detail and I love the composition.

You really have your equipment working at 110%.

Thanks.

Ross.

This is one of my favourite northern objects, and you have captured it very nicely JJ. Thanks for the view.
