Deep Helix redux

After I saw Mike's recent beautiful H-alpha Helix with all its detail, I decided to revisit my Australia data from 2009 and see what I could squeeze out of it. I added a little old data from the northern hemisphere as well.

It looks similar to what I had before except maybe a few more knots in the outer shell.

Man, I wish my scope was still there so I could get more data

You guys are sooooo lucky to have it right overhead!

That is one sweet shot Tom. Very deep. Colours are vibrant and details not seen before in the shells. Inspiring stuff indeed.

Fantastic Tom. Thats a best ever type image - awesome. I like the way you use multiple scopes and cameras. How did you find the 3200ME?

Greg.

Very high QE chip. Blooms were no problem to process out. I sold it years ago but it worked real well.

Lovely image of this target. It presents as being very three dimensional with what looks like ribs poking out from the rings. Very nice work.
