Sorry I haven't been online before now to say "Thanks" for the kind birthday wishes. I had a really good day down the Gold Coast visiting my son, so it was a brilliant day!

To be honest I've taken time off work from the Monday through to the following Sunday, with the option of going to Astrofest, but to be honest I pretty much doubt I'll make it after all.

I really REALLY want to be there and 'chill out' but I don't think it's going to happen. It would be great to catch up with you there, and Jeanette and Randall and Paul and Ron (if he's there after all) and SO many others .... I'll just have to see what happens.
