Really high quality adjustable height astronomy chairs-make visual observing so much more pleasurable,made from New Guinea Rosewood,with Stainless steel and aluminium fittings.

Geoff (another IIS member) have made these our selves,we made one for a order,so while we had gear set up made some more for fellow astronomers,really hope someone in Australia will give these a good home.

Got mine Saturday .... Very well made and comfortable . So nice to " park " my butt and be " comfy " while watching the heavens....

Here is an image of the chairs-only two left in Burgundy colour set,the timber is 22 mm thick,and these are much stronger than previous productions.We will be not making these again-(even if we wanted to,the jigs and templates and plans were destroyed in the floods).

So if your interested,give Geoff a ring,the chairs can be picked up at Capalaba (South side of Brisbane) or sent via Australia Post (extra cost).These chairs really are great value at $150 simply priced to clear,and cover some material costs
