Barnards galaxy &little gem planetary

I Imaged this one on the weekend ngc6822 and ngc6818 ,i had to really stretch the image just to pull out the galaxy would be much better under dark skies also cropped because i had some stray light in the corner 10min shots

Coming along nicely Al. May be stretched a bit hard overall and bloating the stars a bit much or maybe your focus was off just a tad. Something to look at in the future.

Hard imaging in light poluted skies so every attemp will make some improvement. Keep at it.

Good one Al, that galaxy is Very faint. When I got the planetary recently I could not find the galaxy, obviously needed longer exposures. All the best.

Well done on a faint little sucker
I did this one once but with the QHY9 and it was good.
As Doug said, it looks like your focus is not right and the processing can be better, the color is a bit to bright but that is just my opinion.

Thanks guys the focus was a bit out there were clouds drifting in and outand i had to over stretch the image just to pick up the galaxy,will make for a good target at qld astrofestneeds dark skies

this galaxy is so deep and hard to get much detail

I think you've done a great job getting the Ha detail you have. Could be something to work on at AF in nice dark skies.
