I'm not sure how successful you'll be using the stock standard OAG with a Newt Ian. I would be surprised if you can achieve focus without moving the mirror forward or finding a really really really low profile focuser.
You might want to consider the low profile Starlight Xpress OAG. it has a significantly thinner profile than either of the two others.
Getting them to attach to the newt could be a challenge as well seeing as OAG generally come with an SC thread and you'll need an SC tread to 2" bayonette adapter (often called an SC Adapter)
I know that if I was to add a OAG to my DOB then it would fail.
But fortunately I can adjust the length of my tube to compensate. So if it a standard tube even with a low profile focuser, you will need to do some careful measurements.
I know of one that arrived today, a forum member, so I will fire him into the "tell everyone about it" mode.
Rain arrived at the same time of course.
Me? I'm as happy as a pig in poo with the SX OAG, plug and play with the M25C and also the H-16, albeit with a slight re-focus required between the two cameras, this being a tad annoying, but not the end of the world.

Well, Gary let the cat out of the bag about the arrival today of a TS-OAG. I assembled it early this afternoon, not a cloud in the sky and within an hour’s of assembling the unit, clouds have move in so it looks like I will not be using it to night.
The Teleskop-Service OAG is nice and thin and only takes up 9mm of back focal length. I mated the OAG with the TS Quick Filter Changer to give a total length of only 24mm; this is great if you are restricted to the 55mm back focus of the correcting lens to CCD chip. Telescope-Service also provided the correct length adapters and a Micro Focuser for attaching the Loadstar guide camera.
I was considering getting a full guidescope package but this look like a great option. This will mean I can place my DSLR on what ever scope I want without fussing about when I get to longer tube lengths.
me too. i was looking out for different guidescopes, but will now go with the TS OAG.

wasnt clear about the focus. do you manually adjust it by loosening a screw?
I bought my scope from them direct, pleasantly surprised by the efficiency, although the cost is a bit normally high. Although you don't pay the tax on the product that made the cost more pleasant.
I would buy from them unless there is only a small difference to something offered in Australia. I haven't found anything that comes close to cost and size.
Brought my OAG direct from Teleskop-Service on Monday night and got it on Friday.
I emailed Patrick what I wanted, he came back immediately with the adapters that I would require once I told him that I was restricted with the 55mmm corrector/focal reducer lens to CCD chip distance.
My TS-OAG25 has not seen first light since it arrived about 3 weeks ago - been having lousy weather all through this time and includes next week as well !
However I did not order the 9mm one because I wanted one that I could use between the 5 OTAs that I own, an intended new large format CCD imager and the 2.5" FF, so I got the TSOAG25 (with 60mm aperture) instead along with all the spacers to suit all the configuration - and yes +1 for the fact that Patrick Waitola is great to deal with, does all the configuring for your needs and lets you know upfront what the total cost is - easy to deal with, paid via PayPal and cost me only $65 for the postage and arrived within 3 days via UPS, their preferred carrier
I just yesterday put in another order for the TSC-OAG with coma corrector dedicated for the newtonian scope - this is for my 12" dob that is soon going into my obs and again everything was configured by TS and happy to make the payment

Thanks for your feedback .The TS-omg is very much like the Lumicon 2" omg in design but the Lumicon is about $199.95 out of the states . Lumicon pay web site is a little risky as they have a lock with (!) over it and I am not keen about giving my card details to them,so I may have to bite the bullet and buy in Australia and pay $300+ any how thanks all for your input ,this is what I like about this site their is always some one who can help
