I've had this little GoTo mount for about 4yrs now. I cut my wide field imaging teeth on it.
All you need to get started is a dovetail bar for your camera, and away you go.

It runs off 12vt, 240vt (you need one of those plastic adaptors) or 8 AA batteries.
I took this mount with me overseas, it's so compact and light, I just put it in my small suitcase and packed my clothes around it.
I reckon it'd be a beaut little mount to use for next years Solar Eclipse too. Have it ticking over, tracking the sun, instead of chasing it with your tripod.
