Coming on over ...
My wife has a conference in Sydney Tuesday, July 26th. So we're both coming on over Sat morning, 23rd, hiring a car and driving up to the Hunter Valley for a bit of R&R ... & Wine...
Friend of ours has suggested the Lovedale area as being the best option for accommodation and wineries. Looks good on the locality website.
Any suggestions for reasonable priced accommodation around there. ? We're staying Sat and Sun nights up there, driving back to Sydney Monday and her firm is putting us up at the Sydney Hilton Mon and Tues night.
We'll pay up to $250 a night if it's nice, just as a guideline but looking for something a little different. Self contained or maybe B&B. All options are open.
Sorry, won't really have a free evening to catch up with anyone. I am visiting my companies office in Sydney on Tuesday while Liz is at her do and we have Monday night at the Hoefbrauhaus and Tuesday night in the Hilton function room. Fly home Wednesday all shattered.
Any Observatories up in the Hunter Valley region ?
Should take the bins and see if the clouds cooperate.
