It's M20 Season.

Hi All,
Been a while since I posted but here at last is my interpretation of M20.

Just over 2 hours worth of 7 minutes at 800iso using my unmodded Canon 500D. The scope used is the Bintel f/4 Astrograph with coma corrector, Orion DSF and EQ6 mount guided with PHD. Processed in CS3. The image is cropped.

Constructive criticism will be usefull.

Thanks for looking.

Paul

Nice one! Looks similar to mine and just noticed you are using the same scope! Great for an unmodded 500d! Do you use a light pollution filter?

Hi Paul,
Yes, I'm using the Orion Deep Sky Filter, seems to work for my set up but having said that I haven't tried anything different. I 'm floored with your image as well!

Hi All,
I have halved the number of images to try and improve on this image.
This is now a total of 1 hour - 7 minute subs at 800iso.

I think it came out a bit clearer?

Didn't like the first one but the latest version is right on the money. Very nicely processed.
