One of this winters new recruits

Spotted this first time mum cuddling her new born yesterday afternoon in a low down fork. Took the opportunity to record the event.

Dennis Jason & Beron ... glad you found the photo heart warming. I am priveliged, especially so because all this happens in my yard. Well in trees on the boundary most of which wouldnt be more than 20-30 meters from the house. Daily I take a stroll with a cuppa and check them out ... I always see some and at this time of year regularly spot a mum and joey but not as photogenic as this pair. They were in a fork about 10 ft above the ground and she was happy to have me as close as I was.
