yes they are great, the 25mm series 500 thru it = 5mm so i get a nice view as well!

DP not sure which I like best this or the 840K mode, but they're both truly beautiful shots to be proud of

I note that on the images you say your's stacking red, blue and green separately - are you going B&W now with filters or are you splitting the colours out at some point in the process?

no have not gone the 3x more sensitive route just yet. jupiter turns too quick for me to manually change between r.g.b.

mike and i do this step different. mike will virtual dub the avi into bmps and then ppm centre it and them netpbm via some unix script into separate rgb bmps.

i grab the original video and use aviraw 2.5 and it then splits this video into 3 separate videos, from there i can stack the video or convert into bmps for centring with ppmcentre.

if you have a great avi, then i really suggest splitting, as the colours vary so much in quality and wavelets etc. worth the extra effort
