Ngc4945

I have been tuning my lx90 for the OAG and SSAG.
I get it to work for a while then it starts to get long stars-
I was watching the graphs last night and realised that I have aback lash problem - so I'm going to rebalance the system and do a lubejob - what's the best lube for the gears to give smoothness?

I managed to get five 2 minute subs on 4945 last night before it went ape****. So all of ten minutes!

The stars are getting nice and round and you can see the Galaxy - but I need another hour or two!!!!!!!

That's a very good field, sharp and flat. You just need more data now.

Get yourself some marine grade / boating grease. You only need the thinnest smear.
Are you taking Dark frames yet? Flats too will really improve your images a LOT. Al Sheehan has uploaded a handy little app so you can take flats with your laptop. http://www.iceinspace.com.au/files.html scroll down to the bottom, VLB.zip. Down the track you might want to invest in a light box.
