Lunar Eclipse on 16062011 -- Sydney Observatory

Hi All,

I must have seen somewhere between 20 and 30 lunar eclipses. However this is the first time I have ever photographed one -- so don't be too harsh!

Canon 40D Sigma 70-300mm APO lens at 270mm and f/5.6. 5 second exposure at ISO 640. Processed in Photoshop Elements 9. We saw in total, maybe 20 mins of the eclipse start to finish, but at least we saw something!

Best,

Les D

P.S I know I know ... stick to the visual mate !

Sorry the weather didn't come good for you, but as you said, at least you saw some of it. Nice shot too!
