I think I managed to get a little more detail in these pics than last time.
This time I used the 20mm ep with the barlow.

well done, more colour this time as well!
did you unsharp mask these?, they look slightly scratchy if you know what i mean?? not sure of the technical term. the seeing looks to have been very good again

The grain is due to overprocessing. I really wanted to bring out as much detail as I could.
I reprocessed one avi today using an online registax tutorial, and followed up with Harry's Filters in Irfanview. This is the result. A bit softer with less grain.
Best to view this one a couple of feet back from the monitor. LOLOL

for my eye and lcd laptop, that is better, i much prefer this one.

it is always hard, are we trying to produce an image that provides scientific information to resolve as much as possible, or try and see what our eye sees, whilst standing at a distance.

jjjnettie, I'm with DP, definitely prefer this one, the detail might not be as hard, but it's still there and more natural like the view through the eyepiece... not that I've looked through one for a while
