Yes, the links that look like pdf's end up being html's leading to more ads.

Yes I have. Sorry for not mentioning those additional steps, I simply forgot
On the linked page there is a button "request for download ticket".
You click that then you wait for a while.... then there is another web page with the download button. This will be the actual link to pdf file.
