Re the camera: I had a look at the other 8300 style cameras available and decided
A) Build quality is really good, IMO
B) It has a good cooling system, 2 stage
C) Internal filter wheel taking 1.25inch mounted or 31mm unmounted filters
D) Desiccant crystals are rechargeable
E) It was the right price for me
I'm a novice to CCD imaging so I wasn't sure what to expect, the camera has worked straight out of the box, which I love.
I hope to catch you both at the next 10CH night
