Andrews 30 mm 80 Degrees Ultra Wide Field Eyepiece

Hi,

I'm looking for a similar product to Andrews 30 mm 80 Degrees Ultra Wide Field Eyepiece.

Any suggestions ? Don't want to pay $$$$$

GSO Superview 30mm. $69. At Andrews. Wouldn't recommend it in a fast Newtonian though(F5 and below). Its only 68 degrees not 80 as well. Larger AFOV require more glass and thus cost more.
Consider a 32mm plossl if you are going to use it in a fast newt.

I used to have this EP when I had my old 12" DOB and really liked it. For the money it was one of the best EP.
I bought myself 10" SkyWatcher dob f4.7 and wanted to get something similar to that EP

The identical eyepiece badged under the brand label "ProStar" is available from My Astro Shop in Qld for $160 brand new

you would have to buy secondhand in the US, its branded as OWl among others

I have one of these and like it a lot. Gave me great views of the Veil at Astrofest.

Try placing an ad in the Trade/Wanted section. That's how I ended up with mine.
