Chris & Humayun - a morning at the beach (Part II)

Venus Rising

This girl is amazing and I look forward to potential future conceptual shoots.

I've got tonnes to go through, but, here's a start to proceedings.

Canon EOS 5D Mark II, Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L USM
1/320s f/8.0 at 135.0mm iso100

Larger version available here: Venus Rising.

Comments and critique, etc., most welcome.

Great shot Humayun I didn't see you taking them off to the side at the time. Isn't she wonderful! You have the pleats of her dress looking more contrasty than I could. Fantastic!

I think they're rather consensual.

Beautiful pose, light, and location. She looks very natural in front of a camera. Lucky buggas.

Frank mate,

I took a couple of images at slightly different angles and knew what to expect when the waves crashed. It was just a matter of timing.

Next time, we shoot at Claireview? What say ye?

Troy,

Thank you, my friend.

She needed only the very basic direction -- she's a natural.

Shane,

Appreciate that -- but, she's the talented one! All I did was click a button.

Looking very nice Humayun

A small thing i would photo shop out is a bump seen in the below picture.
It is only from a aesthetic point of view ( she is a beautiful subject whatever i say).

Arrow pointing to area i suggested in below pic.
PS: the arrow should point a bit further

You got it all on that shot. She's walking on water, even the waves at the back making the shell.
