Headed into Townsville this morning and was up on Castle Hill at 5am!!
Set up camera with a friend, and was another guy taking pics there too. Had Stellarium up on laptop for people to have a look, but I explained to all there anyway.
I had forgotton that the ISS was making an approach above the planets, but was easy to see, and photograph when it happened. My workmate said that was a real highlight watching the bright ISS pass over the planets.
Gradually more people came, including families, to check out the planets. It was a lovely morning, and well worth the early start for me to come in.
PS ... I know we are prob all getting sick of planet conjunction pics, so bear with us. ; )
