Hi Guys as mentioned earlier we are in Carnarvon on the West Coast and in a C/Park for a few days, so I thought I would set up the Scope for a while.

Not really, this is our view at the end of the park and thought i might share it with you.

As i understand this facility is not in use anymore

You know Leon, I must have driven past that dish more than 50 times (first time 1970ish, last time 1990ish) and have never noticed the little observatory dome next door, that must be a more recent addition. I always remember it as a kid thinking crap we are only half way home .
