waterfall

Went to a place called Madden Falls to snap some pics on the weekend. The path and viewing platform only went to the top of the falls and it was quite an adventure to get down the bottom climbing over large boulders

Had a nice picnic there and got to practice some photography

LOL! That's 15 minutes from me Andrew. It's funny - Humayun was up a couple of weeks ago and we were looking around for somewhere to go and shoot within a short drive from my place. Had I known..... LOL! How far off Darkes Forest Road is it? I see what looks like a parking area opposite the house/farm building there, and a foot track heading south.

Nice shot too!

That looks very inviting, indeed.

Is it a large-ish fall with lots of lush greenery around?

Nicely done. In future, I'd recommend a polariser to remove the glare.

Thanks Chris. Sounds like you know where the track comes from, it was opposite some sort of farm/shop which had an open sign so they sold something (maybe orchids?) There is a sign there that says madden falls, and it is about 1km down the track from the road.

Quite green and lush down the bottom, but more like a mix of open forest and thick swampish scrubland up the top of the falls. I have attached another pic from the bottom of the falls to show the area down there.
