Finally some great conditions in Brisbane. This was 90 mins worth of 5 min subs from last night. Quite rusty with the processing but happy to have a keeper at last!

Nice detail and colour balance in that image Peter. Excellent focus and tracking as usual, so you must be pleased to get it all together again.

Thanks for the comments. I'm definately in need of some practice - not many images to show for the last 12 months.

It sure was cold last night but nice not to be dripping wet with dew for a change. I think the seeing deteriorated as the night went on though?

Still not sure if I'll get a leave pass (from work) for astrofest this year but fingers crossed.

Peter, lovely image. QHY8 I assume? I have beek checking out some of the better QHY8 images of IIS users... yourself, Trevor and Louie have produced some beauty's (though Louie used the Starlight Xpress varient of the sony chip - M25C).

I just grabbed a used QHY8 Pro in the classifieds, so I may need to 'chime in' for advice if that's ok
