Thumbs up Beautiful Sunrise at Avoca - Seascape Photos

Hi all

The same morning of capturing the Moon and Planets Conjunction at Avoca, after the dawn light left and the sunrise came, the sky and some local surfers put on a fantastic show, allowing me to capture these seascape images.

They're some of my best photography of recent times - at least, I think so I'm proud of them, anyway.

Larger images and a few more images here:
Beautiful Sunrise at Avoca - Seascape Photos, May 2011

Canon 40D + 24-105mm lens.

Thanks for looking - feedback welcome.

Thanks so much for your feedback, guys. I really appreciate it.

And H, you're far too kind - your landscapes continue to inspire me.

I do like having people in mine though

I printed a few off at home this morning on the home printer, a regular Canon Pixma MP640, on A4 Glossy Photo paper. They look amazing - much better than I had hoped.

Really, really happy with them.

The prints look remarkable, Mike.

Imagine them blown up to 24x16" (or, bigger).

Very nice Mike,

I especially love the metallic feel given to the rocks conveyed by the cloud colours in the first one, it looks like beaten copper, good enough for the cover of a book about surfing....

Cheers

Chris
