A small group of us in my local area are having a Star Party on Saturday the 25th of Febuary. Any member of IIS who wish to join us is welcome.
I live about 1 1/2 hrs from Brisbane, near Kilcoy and Toogoolawah.

I could be keen Jeanette. Will it be at your place.....or somewhere flatter ? I am heading out to Leyburn this new moon coming, but might be able to swing the Feb event as well - considering I will have to restrict my observing after March due to the arrival of Junior 3

Hi Astro ,
Just got off the phone to 30" Pete. It isn't hard or fast but Pete said he'll be coming to Ron's on the 25th. I don't know if that will help or not but it is oaesme to see 2 massive scopes duelling inthe same padock. Cheers Wes. ps nice work on Peter R's web site .

No worries Zube

I was out at Leyburn last month with Pete's 30" and Azam's 22" operating next to each other - a smorgasbord of big glass - lots of ladder climbing though.
