Amazing Tech

I have been waiting for this book for around 10 years and it is finally out the last one she wrote took 12 years to be written so Jean M AUEL has sped up for this last book in the Earth's Children series. But look at the tech suprise that comes with the book and a web app and webcam. Interesting effect.

It totally freaked out my wife Pam she wanted to know how it was done but she thinks it is magic well real good technology should be indistinguishable from magic. The image is a moving and talking and spear throwing image of the main character in the book. as you move the book your perspective changes so you can view from different directions. VERY COOL

Very cool.

I had to pay a working visit to the R&D lab at NHK in Tokyo back in 2004, and they had the same thing on display in the foyer, though your character looks a bit better than the typical Japanese bear type character at NHK!

Cheers,
Jason.

Augmented Reality is very cool.

The CBA iPhone App has something similar, and the Nintendo 3DS does it too.

You point its cameras at some pre-defined thing on a page, and you get a mini 3D world that you can move around in. Very cool.
