William Optics Megrez 90FD plus extras + Price Drop

I told myself I wouldn't sell this scope but I have to be realistic, it just never gets used.

I am the third owner of this scope, both previous owners are regular IIS members and they have looked after the scope extremely well.
I have lost my card-reader, so the photo's in the following links will have to do until I update.
**Note the dovetail plate in the first link is not included.
Original sale
Second sale

Specs:
Aperture: 90mm
Focal Ratio: f/6.9 f6.2**
Focal Length: 621mm ~558mm**
Objective Type: Doublet FPL-53 Air Spaced
Lens Shade: Retractable
Focuser: 2", 360 degree rotating, Camera-angle Adjuster
1:10 dual speed Crayford with lock screw,
Focuser has 1/4-20 tripod thread on L-bracket
1.25" Brass compression ring adapter included
Tube Length 540mm fully extended, 430mm retracted
Tube Weight 3.2kg
Case : High Quality Aluminum Case
Case Dimensions : (WxHxD) 59cm x 21cm x 18cm)
Case Weight : 3.8kg

**The lens cell has f6.9 engraved on it, however it was discovered that these versions of the M90 shipped with f6.2 lenses, I have confirmed this by aiming at the moon and measuring to the focal plane.
It does not affect the performance of the scope in any way other than providing a wider field.

The scope comes with:
WO hard case
WO 90mm tube rings
I'm also including the following NEW unused items in original boxes:
WO 2" Extender tube(US$41) for visual use, extends EP's to the focal plane,
WO 2" Photo adapter(US$44) and
T-ring to suit Canon EOS camera or Olympus OM(4/3), your choice (~$10)

Idealy, photography should be done with a field flattener but the photo adapter will get you started.

$800
$700 firm *Sold*
I would prefer to sell localy(Perth) but may box it up if my arm is twisted enough, in which case buyer pays freight.

Simon,

I am just wondering whether you received my p.m. sent in response to your intial post? Too late for me to buy now, as I have bought another scope elsewhere.
Hope you sell as I was willing to pay above your current asking price.
