CCD or DSLR with $2000 budget

Hi there!

Sorry about a flood of posts recently... too much time around Easter to go dreaming of new equipment!

Any advice on which camera people would recommend for DS imaging with a $2000 budget? (The mount would be a CGEM.) Should I go a DSLR (which could also double up as a good general camera and also be able to piggyback), or should I go the CCD option? Either way, which camera do people recommend! Ease of use is a priority. I want to have ENJOY using the setup.

Thanks everyone!!

If your serious, buy a cooled CCD camera, lots less noise to deal with in post processing. Try Theo from Gama Electronics for the QHY range of cameras.
