re stars

Looks good, more space around the cross in the frame would be nice.Just feels a little tight.

Just for you Chris more mosaic along with 'reflection nebula' which are actually reflections of bright stars. They come from the clear Canon 'filter' even though it is anti reflection coated. I have replaced it with an open filter holder. This fits in the rear of the lens and is standard with super telephotos from Canon.

More data will fix this if only the clouds and Moon would go away.

This will give you an idea what the final mosaic with all of the Coal Sack and more would look like.

Just gorgeous Bert.

I have been fascinated with your progress over the years and you really have nailed the processing side now with these mosaics and wide field images. You are right up there in the world in this area now.

Greg.
