NGC 4361 planetary in Corvus
Hi all, got this image last night with Astro 40D at ISO 1000 and 14" LX200 at F6.3; this is 8 x 5 minute exposures. Would have liked more exposures, but the Moon was illuminating the sky more and more.
Size = 2.1' x 2.1', magnitude = 10.9 .

That's a nice capture Lester, there's some interesting fine detail showing through.
It looks like you captured a little galaxy above the planetary as well.
Nice work.

Thanks for all your comments, I appreciate them. I will be trying for another much larger planetary near to this one tonight, If I can find it.
All the best.
