12'' Dob Afocal images (Saturn and moon)

Hi Everyone,

Its been a long time since I have done any astrophootgraphy since I am usually a visual observer only, but seeing the majestic view of saturn I decided to give it a go.Using my 12'' dob with a 6mm TMb planetary ep which yielded a magnification of 250x.I then holded the camera to the ep and took several vids.I then put it onto the computer and selected still frame shots which I liked and edited them.

With the moon I just took a still frame shot at the ep through a 26mm plossol.

I know these are very poor images compared to the proffesional planetary photgraphers on IIS,but I decided to share it with you anyways.

Hope you like them
Cheers Orestis

Well done Orestis, it is amazing what can be done with very basic methods, stick with it. Your Moon image is particularly impressive.

Cheers
Trevor
