NGC 4565 in 8 inch and dslr

Hi,
The photo was obtained in most nights. They are forced to accumulate several hours to reduce light pollution in my country. The seeing was never good, so I think the detail has been reached the maximum that could ottenere. It'was a laborious process to eliminate gradients but also a series of masks to bring out the details. In the field are also some galaxies of the catalog entries to the north of IC 4565.
Criticisms and suggestions welcome.
Cheers,
Fabiomax

An excellent shot, the colour and detail is great. I also have a modified 350D though Ive never obtained so much data on the one object. Over 16 hours. Shows what obtaining a lot of data on the one area can do. Well done.

The reduction in the light pollution in your country and photo gathered over most nights is of the best order

A great looking galaxy, lovely work.

Are the exposure times 22 minutes per sub, odd timing and this seems exceedingly long for a DSLR ??

Excellent image! This is inspiring to me as I have just ordered a GSO RC 8. It will sit on my EQ6 and I have a modded 350D! So if this is what can be done through that equipment then all is need is the skill set!

Great work!

22 minutes is not much, considering that rc works in f8, a sufficiently closed!
