Beware: these binoculars are useless!

How is it that they stop at 60km?

Apparently you can see a cow in the middle distance but not the Moon. I suppose the Andromeda Galaxy is right out.

Perhaps it's the 'Power 1000% Lens' that's at fault … not enough magnification maybe.

Another plausible theory I've thought up over a Coopers Sparkling Ale: It's the red coating that stops any light coming from outside the atmosphere.

Yes, that must be it.

Thank goodness I'm smart enough to work out these technical matters.

I'm sorry but your posts title is patently untrue.

"Someone" is making money out of this,
hence to "them", the binos aren't "useless"
Gotta luv the fine print where
1000% really converts to 10x

I bought a pair just like those for my son, but ours must be the deluxe version as I can see as far as the moon and stars.

Oh and ours were only cost $15 from the cheap shop on Pitt St that used to opposite the Hilton.

AH HA! I just got my Cray Supercomputer fired up and it told me that if I see something at real size, then its 100% of its size, so therefore, using a slide rule, a box of used staples and my computational input device of pencil and paper, it only took me 30 minutes to work out that:

10 times 100% = 1000%!!!!!!

Wow, these MUST be good if they can magnify THAT much.....

Maybe I should cancel my order for my snuggie and ab-sculptor and get this instead....?

Far out, just IMAGINE how big the moon would look it if it was 1000% BIGGER!

Woohoo, I can't wait.

Cheers

Chris

These SUPER binocs are $59.95 ($60) plus p+h $9.95 ($10).
That's a total of $70

Bintel and Andrews sell similiar Binocs for around $25 that actually work!

But I suppose the $70 ones are worth it, as they do come with a bonus Strap

Actually, they claim that you can send them back for up to 12 months!

So what you do is use them for 11 months then send them back and say "Mine don't work properly, I can see things further than 60 km away, so they must be broken",
and get your "Full, no quibble, refund"

Don't mock the Snuggie - I've seen a leopard skin print one in the flesh - it was imported from the US for a friend of mine. She loves it!
