After previous night Tom said seeing was good in Bris although I did not get it so was ready this time and stars were twinkly but not too bad. By 10pm seeing was 8/10 but fell away to 7/10 quickly after so got one good set with the storm head. Relatively new to planetary imaging my colour processing is a bit strong so tried to get a more natural colour this time and not too smooth. Tests showed a little gamma-1200 was best for detail in red channel.
Good work John, very impressive. I wish I had half the resolution and light gathering you have. Great touch with the processing as well. I didn't have the energy to image on Sunday night, and there were some cloud about when I checked a couple of times anyway. Seems the conditions at the Bay and over near Archerfield alternate.
Thanks everyone, looks like I'll get another chance tonight, hopefully good seeing will still be around? Still waiting for 10/10 seeing, think I may be waiting a long time?
