Thursday Sun - 7 April 2011

Hi all

Again I dodged clouds to get some images this morning - I physically had to move my scope and mount twice to avoid showers! The Ikea plastic chairs just stayed out!!!!

Lunt60/Ha SS, Powermate, DMK31 and Registax5

I like the big 'U' shaped filament - quite a change from yesterday!

Beautiful sharp detail Matt.

I would expect a DMK 31 to produce a bigger inage that you present. Are you using a smaller frame size to capture or are you reducing the size of the your images for presentation purposes?

Hi Al,

The field of view is correct.

I reduce the size of the image - my presentation technique is simple - I process in Regisatx, do an inverted copy as well and reduce the size to fit both on a PowerPoint slide that I copy as a JPEG.

I also reduce the size when I post to 75% - just a habit!

- Attachment 1 is the full sized PowerPoint version

- Attachment 2 is a full image straight from Registax

I hope this answers your qn?
