Lunar X that I think happened- LOL

After a long day, I decided to NOT try to image the "X". I did observe the very first speck of light being reflected at 12:12am EDT (May 24, 2007). I do believe that if I would have stayed to watch, I would have indeed been able to see the "X" form before the moon set. Did anyone else get the try for this one?

Just checked some 'experimental' camcorder images I took last night, and voila! There was the cross. Not perfect illumination, but OK. The image is from about 9pm AEST give or take, so about UT 11:00, 24 May 07. 122 frames stacked in Registax. This image was cropped from a larger vignetted 640x480 image so it was quite small, and I just now resized it up by about 20% to make the cross easier to see (and put the arrow in to be sure!).

Hope this is of interest Dana. Next time I should be more observant!

Cheers -

Here is the link to my posting of that pic before you mentioned Lunar 'X' so you know I didn't go searching for one after your query.

It is pic number 4
