Saturn April 4

Finally managed to get out under the stars again. Seeing was a bit better than average and Saturn looked beautiful through the new Dob. The bright rings showed up pretty well in the imagery from the smaller EQ mounted scope as well. Thanks for looking. Regards Ray

Hi Tony. Thanks.
Used an 8inch f4 GSO Newt with Barlows to get up to about f24. Astronomik filter set and DMK21. mounted on a HEQ5pro. images exposed at 15fps (seeing was pretty stable) for 110sec per channel and processed in AVIstack - stacked 80%. combine and deconvolution in IRIS.

Hi Tom. Thanks for your generous comments

Regards Ray
