Guan Sheng Optics (GSO) is a leader in optical telescopes and accessories, and GSO products have been sold for years by Meade, Celestron, Orion and others under their own brand-names. Hence, two of these GSO Plossls are labeled with the “SmartAstronomy” brand and the 15mm is labeled GSO.
They feature 4-element, 52° Apparent Field of View, optical designs, with edge-blackened, fully multi-coated lens elements that eliminate reflection and internal light scattering, resulting in better contrast to enhance fine planetary detail and faint deep-sky features. All have folding rubber eyeguards, indented set-screw rings and are threaded for standard 1.25" (31.7mm) size filters.
These three intermediate focal length eyepieces perform well on both deep-sky and planetary subjects and were excellent in my recently sold Coronado PST solar scope. They are in very good condition and come with barrel caps and a protective plastic storage case that holds all three eyepieces (not shown).
