NGC 2359 Thor's Helmet LRGBHaOIII From SPSS 2011

A great star party at SPSS 2011! On and off weather but at least managed to grab some data (through the clouds at times!).

Good to meet and catch up again.

This is LRGBHaOIII blended. Each Channel is 5 min x 5 (total 150 min).

Taken with EQ5 6 inch Newt Atik 314L

Thanks Sandy - the stars are a tad orange (Narrowband) so I have toned that part down a bit in a repo!

Nice image Paul, the narrow band can be a real pain to process and maintain nice star color. You haven't done to bad with no huge halos which often totally destroy the surrounding stars. The level of detail is very good considering how dim this target is and all done with 5 minute subs..

Well done.

Nice Hat Maybe the stars are still a bit orange but the colour and detail in the neb is spot on
