Had an attempt at the running chicken nebula and managed to get 15x20 min with the QHY8 and 10"SCT at F6.3 before I had to close the dome due to cloud.
Of course it cleared up after I shot my flats.
Theres some detail in it but needed more subs.
Comments welcomed.

Hi Allan, Good going with 20 minute subs its very up close and personal with that 10". If I could suggest, for more detail whack a Ha filter on the QHY8 and blend that in. It should add structure to the nebulosity.

looks a tad soft - but i am sure that must be the seeing. great you have /had some clear skies Allan

Keith as David said below - seeing. But I might try some Ha to see whats there.

Your right David. The seeing was pretty ordinary that night and it was difficult to get sharp stars etc. Will have to try agin later.
