After months off an image (sorry Eta in NB)

Well fellow IISers I have an image to post - it was a test of my new kit so please forgive the subject matter. Anyhow my guidecam problems have been resolved - but only by using a new camera - a PL131M from Opticstar (the only other way meant dedicating a laptop to guiding. Does anyone else have this issue with the QHY5? It seems to be a bandwidth hog ! I was using an IBM T60 (5 years old dual-core running xp)? My filter wheel problems required purchase of a new filter wheel (Atik EFW mk1 is NOT recommended and is no longer made). And the clouds parted for a night last week so I got some lights and I just got around to processing....hubble palette, 60 mins Ha, 120, Sii and Oiii. Just a relief to get something after months of frustration...

Hi John, nice contrasty image with loads of detail and looks quite well guided. A good return after a lay off. Any scope and camera details?

Regards
Keith

Sure - North Group 127mm triplet plus an Opticstar 145m CCD, guiding with a PL131M/PHD driving a G11G. Any distortion of star shapes is therefore entirely my fault due to the "carry and plonk" polar alignment being very rough....
