Need contributors/writers for the MOC

Hi guys.

Andrew, John and I need some help in compiling the MOC - monthly observing challenge.

We need someone who has the chance to observe fairly regularly, can help compile a list of objects for a given month, and then do a writeup on a few of those objects.

It's not a big job, but Andrew, John and Myself struggle to find time to compile and complete the writeups each month so we need some assistance.

The MOC will most likely also become the 2MOC - that is, the 2-moon observing challenge.. so the list will cover a 2-month period instead of doing it every month. This will give us more time to compile the list and make sure it's on the site at the start of the given 2-month period.

If you're interested, please send me an email or PM.

Thanks

i suggest spreading the load a bit. how about some guys that are always here coming up with a little writeup on what they have been looking at recently. Beren is already fantastic reports

ving picks a double that he has been exploring and he likes
beren picks some moon features
I am happy to select a galaxy/cluster
asimov / ken???

if we all do 2 or 3 of these each a year, then it is not a lot of work and we could still get a monthly challenge of say 4 or 5 objects???

I would love to chip in but I am bogged down by PhD lab work and thesis writing at the moment in my free time when I am not out observing. I should be available after September...hopefully
