Narrowband imaging

Hi all
This type of imaging has always fascinated me, to see why go here

The scectacular effects that bring nebulosity out from the sky are great.

Barnards Loop (taken last night) 3 x 10 mins ISO 1600 50mm f1.8 lens
Both taken with unmodified 300D camera and Baader 7 Nm H. Alpha filter
I manually subtracted dark frames in PS using just the red channels converted to 16 bit greyscales

Hey Scott, great shots!!!
There will be a large overlap in the Ha filter and the IR filter of the 300D.... Makes me wonder how awesome they might look using an modified 300D!! Especially the B-Loop one.
Shoot the filter down here & I'll try it out for you ....
Well done.

Hi Scott

Interesting results with your unmodded camera. I have been following Richard's imaging for some time now. He does some great work.

Cheers
